This garden initiative started in September 2006 and finished in August 2007. The City of Saline, the Saline Historical Society, and Pick up Pace Saline (PUPS) requested the project to enhance a walking trail along the former railroad route.
The planting arrangement follows a half circle motif with hardy shrubs and perennials. Annual flowers are added yearly for color consistency. Club members handle ongoing maintenance through watering and weeding during the growing season.
